Step by step process to save Google Doc as PDF, this process will work on Both Windows and MAC.

  1. Open your file and Click File Menu at the Top left

    You have to open the file you want to convert to PDF by going to Google Docs and choose the File option at the top left, just below the Doc title.

    Once you click the File option you’ll get a list of options, choose Downloads to download the doc file you created.

    When you click Download, you’ll get different format options, choose PDF Document (.pdf) from the list.

Save Google Docs to PDF in Android and iOS

Follow the below steps in your Google Docs app on your Android, iPhone, or iPad. This will be more or less the same as the above procedure we followed for PC.

  1. Open the file in Google Docs App
  2. Click on the three dots at the top right corner
  3. Click on Share & Export

  5. Now choose .pdf from the list.

  2. Now a Pop-up appears, choose PDF as file type, ad recipient, and message and send the mail. The other person will get your Google doc file in PDF format.

Fix – Google docs to PDF not working

In case if you are facing problem in the Google Docs to the PDF conversion process, you can try clearing the cache in the device you are trying, if you are on a PC browser, go to settings and clear Browser cache. If you are in a Mobile app, go to that app setting and clear the App Cache. This will fix the issue, apart from this check for good internet connectivity.
