How to Create Custom Snapchat Filters

Be it your birthday or anniversary; showcase your intent with custom filters. Once created a filter, all you have to do is submit and upload your own design for you to use on your snaps. Steps to Create Custom Snap Filters

Step 1 – Go to https://create.snapchat.com/

Step 2 – Once the page opens select ‘Create a Filter’ and under ‘Design Online’ select the occasion for which you want to create the filter. Once this is done you can start designing your filter.

Step 3 – Now you are ready to create your own filter. Follow the steps carefully from here on.

  • On the left-hand side of your screen, you can select a template of your choice. Make a selection.
  • On the right-hand side of your screen select the palette and then select a color for your filter. There are also different text choices and fonts to choose from.
  • Upload images that you want to be in the filter.
  • Furthermore, you have loads of choices on emojis, bitemojis, stickers etc.

Step 4 – When you are done designing your filter, simply click on Next button.

Step 5 – Now you can make your filter available for a location of your choice. All you need to do is input the address, Click on ‘Draw Fence’ and select the area where you want this filter to be active for other Snapchat users to use.

Step 6 – Every filter has a start and end date, so for the ones that you create. Choose the start and end date for the filter. Additionally, like in the case of your cell phone alarm, you can make your Filter be active periodically. Select ‘Repeating Event’ and notify the frequency you want the Filter to be active.

Step 7 – You are almost done. Click on ‘Checkout’ button when you feel everything is in place

Step 8 – Finally, give a name to your Filter, enter your payment info, and click on ‘Submit’ button. This sends your filter to the Snapchat team for approval. Once approved, your filter is live and you can start using it.
